Stay positive! You can do this you just need to fully believe you can. Affirmations are a great way to remind yourself through the day-I encourage clients to choose theirs and place them in prominent positions around their home where they can see them regularly and let them enter their subconscious with ease.
Stop buying! If it isn’t in your cupboards you can’t eat it. Simple but true!
Make a plan! How are you going to achieve your goals? What will your meals be like? What could you replace unhealthy snacks with? Could you increase the amount of exercise you do? What will be your reward for staying within your plan? Each little tweak you make will help towards your overall achievement.
Tell your friends! The more you bring it into the open the more motivating it is to stick to your plan. The encouragement from others can also help.
Don’t be hard on yourself – if you take 5 steps forward and one step back, you’re still in a better place than when you started.
